Multivitamin Supplements OEM/ODM Service

KS Nutripharma is a multivitamin supplement manufacturer for OEM, ODM, and private-label brands. A multivitamin is a product platform: nutrient selection, mineral load, units per day, dosage form, packaging, and testing define the manufacturing file.

This general manufacturing file is for daily essential multivitamins, high-potency adult formulas, complete vitamin-and-mineral formulas, iron-free variants, 50+ specifications, and one-unit or multi-unit serving designs. Immune-support, women’s, prenatal, beauty, eye-health, and single-nutrient products move to their own specifications when the formula architecture changes.

Request a multivitamin quote with the target market, formula or Supplement Facts panel, dosage form, serving size, pack, and expected order quantity. If the route is not fixed yet, send the target product type and channel first.

Certification systems available by project: cGMP | ISO 22000 | HACCP | FSSC 22000 | Halal | Kosher
Project documents such as batch COA, specification, allergen statement, and market files are confirmed before production.

Multivitamin Formula Platforms

Note:

Adult vitamin-led and vitamin-and-mineral daily formulas in tablets or hard capsules, including one-tablet and two-tablet servings, are specified on Daily Multivitamins. Immune-support formulas are specified on immune support supplements.

01-coated-daily-multivitamin-tablets-beside-an-amber-bottle
Daily Essential Multi

Role: Broad adult coverage for general retail, pharmacy, and private-label product lines, with a short vitamin panel and a light mineral line.

Quote before Production: Vitamin forms and label amounts; mineral salts, compound weights, and elemental amounts; units per day; coating; bottle count; desiccant.

Manufacturing Limit: A coated tablet is often the first route. If calcium, magnesium, or a complete B-complex pushes the unit too large, evaluate a multi-unit serving, hard capsules, or a complete vitamin-and-mineral platform.

02-high-potency-adult-multivitamin-capsules-and-large-tablet
High-Potency Adult Multi

Role: A broader adult panel with higher per-serving targets, selected nutrient forms, or a label position that requires more than a basic daily formula.

Quote before Production: Nutrient forms and target label amounts, total fill per unit, units per day, tablet or capsule size, pack, and finished-product testing.

Manufacturing Limit: High-potency must be defined by nutrient amounts and target label claims, not by a larger title. A gummy version requires a separately assessed nutrient panel.

03-complete-vitamin-and-mineral-tablets-with-mineral-powder
Complete Vitamin and Mineral

Role: A formula where minerals are a major part of the product, not a small supporting line.

Quote before Production: Mineral source, compound weight, elemental label amount, units per day, and the share of unit weight occupied by minerals.

Manufacturing Limit: Different magnesium, calcium, or zinc sources can deliver the same elemental target while contributing different compound weights. That changes formula load, unit size, and cost.

Serving and Nutrient Variants

Serving Design

One-Unit, Two-Unit or Multi-Capsule

A complete vitamin-and-mineral or high-potency panel may not fit one acceptable tablet. The serving design states how many tablets, hard capsules, gummies, or grams of powder make the daily serving, and what each unit carries. A two-tablet formula is a load solution, not a second nutrient story.

Nutrient Configuration

Iron-Free and Trace-Mineral Variants

An iron-free general multi stays on this file when the rest of the formula remains a general adult formula. A women’s iron or iron-free twin belongs on the women’s specification. Trace-mineral variants name each mineral form, elemental amount, premix use, and the finished-product tests that cover those lines.

Age-Specific Specification

50+

A 50+ formula is separate only when vitamin D, vitamin B12, minerals, serving size, or unit count materially change. A front-panel audience name with the same nutrient panel stays on the daily essential route. The same rule applies to men’s formulas: write the nutrient, iron, or serving difference, or keep it inside the base platform.

Dosage Forms and Manufacturing Routes

Chewables are quoted when flavor, hardness, and disintegration are part of the brief, usually for a children’s panel. Softgels are quoted when the formula has an oil phase. Liquids are quoted when the brief accepts solution or suspension work, flavor, preservation, and a separate pack. These project formats do not carry the same panel as a coated tablet.

01-coated-multivitamin-tablets-in-a-clear-glass-dish

Best for: Daily essential multis, two-unit servings, and many complete vitamin-and-mineral formulas.

Main Limit: Compound mineral weight, tablet size, hardness, coating, disintegration, and swallowability.

Lock before Quoting: Coated or uncoated, target size, units per day, desiccant, bottle count, and whether a compression trial is needed.

Manufacturing Note: Tablets are the usual press path for a general multi.

02-clear-hard-capsules-of-multivitamin-powder-in-a-glass-jar

Best for: High-potency panels and formulas that no longer fit one acceptable tablet.

Main Limit: Capsules split fill across units, but they still require a fill-volume calculation. HPMC or gelatin does not remove mineral bulk.

Lock before Quoting: HPMC or gelatin, capsule size, capsules per day, fill weight, and moisture protection.

03-berry-colored-multivitamin-gummies-on-a-pale-ceramic-tray

Best for: Shorter adult or children’s vitamin panels with limited mineral load.

Main Limit: Gummy feasibility depends on processing temperature, moisture and water activity, ingredient compatibility, nutrient stability, flavor system, and intended shelf life.

Lock before Quoting: Nutrients kept, nutrients removed, pieces per day, flavor, sweetener system, water activity target, and pack.

Manufacturing Note: Gummies are quoted as their own formula, not as a tablet panel in another shape.

04-plain-multivitamin-powder-sticks-beside-a-mineral-scoop

Best for: Mineral-fortified servings, portable single-serve products, and formulas where a tablet would be too large.

Main Limit: Powder avoids compression limits. It still has serving grams, flavor, solubility, moisture, and barrier-film requirements.

Lock before Quoting: Grams per serving, flavor, sweetener, barrier film, tub or single-serve pack, and moisture target.

Audience Specifications and Applications

The audience decides which specification to quote. Move to a separate specification when the target audience, nutrient architecture, serving, or compliance requirements change. Vitamin C, vitamin D3, B-complex, calcium, and magnesium keep their own single-nutrient files.

  • 01-daily-multivitamin-coated-tablets-and-hard-capsules

Use for: Adult vitamin-led and vitamin-and-mineral daily formulas in tablets or hard capsules, including one-tablet and two-tablet servings.

Specify: Vitamin forms, mineral salts, elemental amounts, and tablets or capsules per day.

Boundary: Not a high-potency, gummy, powder, iron-free, or 50+ specification. Not an immune-support formula.

  • daily-multivitamin-tablets-and-gummies-for-immune-foundation

Use for: A daily multi in an immune-support assortment. Assortment file: immune support supplements.

Specify: Vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, and selenium, with the form and amount of each. Elderberry or echinacea only when the brief names the material and the marker.

Boundary: Those four nutrients also appear in a basic daily multi. The quote needs the target amounts, or the immune route is only a title.

  • energy-multi-coated-tablets-beside-a-labeled-bottle
    Energy and B-Complex Multivitamin

Use for: A higher B-complex multi for energy-range product lines.

Specify: B-vitamin forms and per-serving amounts, plus magnesium salt, compound weight, and elemental amount. CoQ10 or a named adaptogen only when it is part of the formula.

Boundary: A higher B-complex changes fill and cost. An energy line on an unchanged daily panel stays on the daily formula.

  • 02-womens-multivitamin-capsules-with-iron-and-folate-specification

Use for: A women’s daily line where iron, folate, and the age group are specified.

Specify: Iron in or out, folate form, biotin, and vitamin D, each with a label amount.

Boundary: Iron and folate decide this file. A women’s title on a general panel stays on the general route. Prenatal nutrition has its own file.

  • mens-multi-tablets-and-capsules-beside-a-labeled-bottle
    Men's Multivitamin

Use for: A men’s daily line built on zinc, magnesium, and B-complex.

Specify: Zinc and magnesium forms, elemental amounts, and the B-vitamin panel. Saw palmetto only when the extract, marker, and dose are specified.

Boundary: The men’s route needs a stated difference in those amounts, in iron, or in serving size.

  • senior-multi-tablets-and-capsules-beside-a-labeled-bottle
    Senior Multivitamin

Use for: A 50+ daily line where vitamin D, vitamin B12, calcium, or lutein changes the panel.

Specify: Vitamin D3, calcium compound and elemental amount, vitamin B12 form, and lutein amount if lutein is on the label.

Boundary: A 50+ title with the same panel as the adult daily formula stays on that formula. A lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, and copper eye formula is an AREDS eye vitamin.

  • kids-multi-gummies-and-chewables-beside-a-labeled-bottle
    Kids Multivitamin

Use for: A children’s multi with a lower per-serving panel and a chewable or gummy format.

Specify: Age band on the label, vitamin amounts per serving, whether DHA is included, and gummy or chewable.

Boundary: The adult tablet panel is not scaled down into a gummy. Dose, flavor, texture, and child-resistant pack are a separate file.

  • sports-multi-tablets-and-capsules-beside-a-labeled-bottle
    Sports Multivitamin

Use for: A training-range multi that adds magnesium and electrolytes to a B-complex base.

Specify: B-vitamin amounts, magnesium form and elemental amount, and which electrolyte salts are in the serving.

Boundary: Electrolyte weight changes tablet size and daily unit count. A sports title on a standard B-complex panel stays on the B-complex route.

  • 03-prenatal-vitamin-capsules-softgels-and-maternal-nutrition-brief

Use for: Preconception, pregnancy, postnatal, and lactation formulas.

Specify: Folate form, iron, DHA, and iodine, with the target market’s label rules.

Boundary: Prenatal amounts and warnings are a separate file from a women’s daily multi.

  • 04-beauty-multivitamin-gummies-capsules-and-beauty-from-within-nutrients

    Use for: A beauty-from-within multi.

Specify: Biotin, vitamin C, and vitamin E, plus collagen or a named polyphenol only when the brief includes it.

Boundary: Biotin, vitamin C, and vitamin E alone do not make a beauty formula. A general daily tablet with softer front-panel language stays on the daily route.

  • 05-areds-eye-vitamin-capsules-with-lutein-zeaxanthin-zinc-and-copper

Use for: Lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, copper, vitamin C, and vitamin E eye formulas.

Specify: Lutein and zeaxanthin amounts, zinc and copper forms, and the vitamin C and vitamin E targets.

Boundary: Not a general multi with a small lutein line.

  • antioxidant-multi-coated-tablets-beside-a-labeled-bottle
    High-Potency Antioxidant Multivitamin

Use for: A high-potency multi where vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium set the antioxidant panel.

Specify: Amounts and forms for vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium. A polyphenol only when the material and marker are named.

Boundary: Higher amounts have to be written as label targets on the high-potency platform. An antioxidant title on a basic daily panel stays on the basic route.

Specification, Assay and Quality Control

Vitamin Identity

Each vitamin line states the chemical form or material specification, the target label amount, the unit basis, and the finished-product test if required by the project. Preformed vitamin A and beta-carotene, folic acid and methylfolate, cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin, and alpha-tocopherol and mixed tocopherols are different materials and different cost files. The target market decides which form and amount can be printed.

Potency Basis and Overage

Raw-material potency, input weight, and label claim are separate specification fields. The required input is calculated from the ingredient assay, nutrient equivalency, and the agreed label target. Overage is set nutrient by nutrient from the process, formula risk, and available stability data. It is not one percentage for the whole formula.

Mineral Specification

Each mineral line states the compound name, compound input weight, elemental label amount, and units per day. Elemental amount is the label target. Compound weight is what the dosage form must physically carry. This is why two formulas with the same elemental magnesium can have different unit size and cost.

Premix and Blend Uniformity

Trace minerals and some vitamins may sit far below the bulk mineral weight. The brief names which lines are premixed, which ingredients are added directly, and which finished-product tests cover the agreed specification. Incoming identity of a premix is not the same as a finished-unit result.

Finished-Product Testing and COA

The finished-product specification defines the applicable assays, microbiological criteria, contaminant limits, and batch-release documents. The agreed testing scope and reporting format are confirmed before production. Analytical methods are selected by nutrient, ingredient matrix, and specification. Chromatographic methods may be used for applicable vitamin assays, while ICP-MS or other validated elemental methods may be appropriate for selected minerals and trace elements. Reading supplier fields is covered in how to read a COA.

Pack and Stability

Bottle count, seal, desiccant, blister, or stick film is part of the specification. Packaging is selected from the formula, process exposure, packaging barrier, intended shelf life, and available stability data. US retail labels use applicable Supplement Facts rules in the FDA labeling guide. Other markets use their own label rules. A sample does not replace the batch-release file.

Planning Band and Boundary

Plant Capability81,000 m² and 12 lines covering capsules, tablets, softgels, and gummies. This is factory-level capability, not a reserved line for one multivitamin project
Output ContextPublished daily capacities are capacity references only. Actual project output depends on formula load, batch size, coating, packaging, clearance, and testing
Pilot MOQSelected capsule or tablet pilot runs may start from 500-1,000 finished units when an existing formula and standard packaging are used. Confirmed project by project
First Commercial OrderCommonly planned around 5,000-10,000 units for capsules or tablets after specification and pack approval
Scale Order100,000+ units is a scale-planning reference when formula, pack, materials, and tests are approved
Gummies, Sticks, and Custom PacksQuoted above the tablet pilot because flavor, film, cook, pack, or setup changes the floor
Indicative Lead Time6-10 weeks may apply after formula approval, material and packaging availability, test scope, artwork, and production scheduling are confirmed
Excluded from That BandFirst formula design, repeated sample revisions, stability studies, special packaging delays, regulatory review, delayed raw materials, or delayed artwork approval
Repeat OrderShorter only when approved materials and packaging are available and the test scope remains unchanged

Final Project Brief

Send the product route, target market, dosage form, serving size, pack, expected first order, and current project stage. Useful files include a Supplement Facts panel, a competing label, a current supplier quote, a packaging target, and any required market documents.

If the project is early, send the target audience and channel first. We will identify whether the file belongs on the general multivitamin route or a separate daily, women’s, prenatal, beauty, eye-health, or single-nutrient specification.
